7. So.. my full Dog Mange Regimen.

The weekly procedure is simple.

Every Morning:
1 Drop from a Fish Oil Capsule popped and mixed with food
1/4 Echinacea Tablet crushed and mixed with same food
1 Brewers Yeast tablet fed whole
1/2 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar to full bowl of drinking water

Once A Week: Mange Armageddon Bath aka Ted's Mange Cure/Bath

The Day After Every Bath:
Neem Oil mixed with (Grapeseed Oil, Almond Oil, or Sesame Oil)
Massaged into entire body at a 5:1 ratio  (five parts carrier to 1 part neem oil)

Make sure that you wash your dog's bedding and keep area that your dog frequents CLEAN.  MITES CAN AND DO HANG OUT IN THESE AREAS AND WILL ATTEMPT TO HOP BACK ON YOUR DOG. Last thing you want is to give your dog an armageddon bath to have him go lay down in a mite infestation.

  1. When you apply the neem oil do you remove the scab on the lesion or just saturate the entire lesion scab and all? Thank you

  2. Is the neem oil supposed to be applied after every Ted's mange cure/bath or just every normal bath? Thanks.

  3. This sounds helpful but Tea Tree Oil is Not a carrier Oil. It is very potent and toxic to cats and some other animals. It must be used WITH a carrier Oil but NOT AS a carrier Oil. It would also detract from the Neem which is the best for any type of natural insect or pest repellent/ insecticide. Grape seed, Jojoba, Coconut Oil could all be used as carriers with Neem but never Tea Tree Oil. Eucerin lotion human version, after these treatments in the worst spots also helps soothe the animals skin and has healing properties but would wait until the critters have been mostly killed off as dampness helps mites and other ectoparasites to thrive. I add a few drops of Neem Oil to four ounces of Eucerin and keep in a sealed plastic Tupperware bowl and apply with q-tips. Also don't forget to wipe doggies ears with damp cotton balls, Kleenex or paper towel after bathing to remove rinsed out yuckies from bath. These critters love to hide in the moist ear folds and inside the dirt and earwax. A few drops of food grade Orange Oil mixed in a carrier Oil wiped inside ear help deter critters also but do not put down into ear canal, just rub on under side of ears and around rim of where canal starts and use q-tip dipped in this or cotton balls to gently clean folds leading to ear canal but never insert into canal. Great tips! Thanks so much and glad Sarge is feeling better. Try the Orange Oil diluted in spray bottle once weekly to deter reappearance of critters and reduces biting flies also while pups are out playing. They are carrying all types of bad news Filarial parasites with them that can be transmitted to humans. Can use orange Oil on humans also to deter bites while outdoors with your pets. Good luck!
